MAEPRANOM THAI CHILLI PASTE
Prik Pao (or "namprik pao") is legendary in Thailand and has been a staple in Thai households for generations. This is a cooked chile paste with a variety of uses, and it's the key ingredient in tom yum.
Directions: Add to Tom Yum soup. Spread on bread, toast or sandwiches. Used for stir-frying, mix with rice or add to spicy Thai salads. This can also be used as a dip for fresh vegetables, crackers and crispy rice cakes.
